AIMS AND STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

1. to share the knowledge, skill and ideas through arts and culture.
2.to inter link social information through art and culture. by building a plat form for visual and verbal artistes.
3.to use al lawful proper and prudent means to ensure that artistes aspirations and interestes are realised.
4.to work in close solidarity with other organization within the country, regionally, and beyond. thus establishing friendly relations and understandings among other relevant organization whose objectives are simillar to bonfire uganda.
5.to seek, enhance and maintain the freedom of consience, expression associations,academic liberty and all rights and privilledges accuring to members by virtue of their humanity, age, sex, status, citizenship and their relevant criteria.
6.to promote enjoyment of the freedom, rights and previledges reffered to in paragraph(5)
7.to work hand in hand with UNCC and other cultural bodies concerned with the enhancement of artistes work and culture.
8.to encourage Artistes to research and develop their Artistic and profesional talents.
9.to improve and preserve high Artistic and Cultural standards in the country.
10. to encourage the use of African cultural heritage, indigenous wisdom, values and skills.

1. improve inter cultural relation both locally, regionally and internationally.
2.Bonfire uganda has built confidence and sustainability in talented and undiscovered Artistes(underground)
3.established a collaborative relationship with various cultural organizaation like Bayimba cultural foundation, Uganda National Cultural Centre, Cross Cultural Foundation, British Council, Uganda Germany Cultural Society,Alliance Francaise kampala among others.
4.it has built a platform for poets, story tellers, acrobats, hiphop artistes among on a weekly basis.
5.it has bridged the gap between the advantage and disadvantage, equal and un equal, illiterates and literates.
6.participation in the second Bayimba International of music and arts and the wprls music day at the alliance francaise.

Bonfire Uganda is a non-profit making organization which uses visual, creative and performing arts for the integration of a diverse cultural heritage worldwide.

The Organization was founded by Ugly Emcee a.k.a Abass Hassan Muhammad Ibrahim Amin.

Since February 25th 2009 Bonfire Uganda has been holding a weekly Artistic and Cultural Nite themed "BONFIRE NITE" at the Uganda national Theatre every Wednesday from 8pm to 10pm and proudly sponsored by the Uganda National Culture Centre UNCC/National Theatre and the Nommo gallery.

Organizational Structures


Bonfire Uganda with support of the Uganda National Cultural Centre and has an Executive Committee which includes the  project coordinator, Finance and Administrative officer, secretary General, Public Relation Officer, Production  Manager  and is headed by and a Creative Director.
